Any Advice re Changing Oncologist

My sister was dx'd Mucinous Breast Cancer/Stage II, grade I at age 46.  She had Mastectomy/Reconstruction plus multiple post surgeries due to Margin+, Scar issues, and benigh tumors found on the other breast.  She declined Chemo offered by her Onc. and then, cancer came back locally on the border of Mastectomy site when she was on Tamoxifen.  The Onc pushed Chemo again as the recurrence happened within two yrs which proved her cancer is more aggressive.  My sister went for 2nd opinion and was told that she should go for locally aggressive tx instead of Chemo as this rare type of cancer does not respond to Chemo very well.   My sister then had surgery, radiation, plus ovaries removal last year and recently on Arimidex plus Zometa.  She has been struggling with different sxs related/unrelated to her cancer treatment since recurrence.  She is now considering changing Onc/to go to the 2nd opinion Onc who sounded more knowledgeable about her type of cancer.  She is undecided as she loves her tx team at current cancer center except the Onc and that 2nd Onc is at another cancer center.  Any advice?

If she loves her team; maybe she should tell them of her concerns and see what THEY say. When I talked to my doctor about maybe going somewhere else; we had a very good, honest discussion of the pros and cons. I think (or hope, anyway) that most good teams want the best for their patients. (whether that means staying with them or going elsewhere). Good Luck!
