COULD IT BE??
I'll start a couple of weeks ago. I was gut cleaning my laudry room. Moved the washer, dryer,
refrigerator, stove scrubbed the floor and then painted a wall.
A few days later I was having some discomfort in by rear cheek area & lower so I treated that by sitting on a tennis ball. Works like a charm. The discomfort is pretty much gone.
Now the last few days I have been feeling this feeling not really a pain bt a feeling
it is located I will try to explain( upper inner thigh kind of sort of ...maybe closer to pelvis kind of towards the rear where your butt cheek starts but closer to your crotch area and not the back of the leg.
Its kind of there. I know its there but not causing any real problems. Thinking I pulled something. Have the same on the other side but that one is hardly there at all.
I also am really out of shape and just started exersing again.
For you that have mets to pelvis what symptoms did you have
Please help
Could this me mets.
ALso what were you symptoms of mets to the pelvis could this be it?
Also I am putting this off as long as I can. Very high deductable and with the economy we are barley making it. Cannot even afford the copay let along the costs of tests etc
also it does not keep me up at night

I have a lump that goes up and down on the top of the left side of my collarbone in the area where my kneck attaches. During my first chemo it appeared and the Dr.'s thought my port had collapse. Well they check it out through scans and said nope the port is fine. Since then we have seen the same area swell and create a lump over and over. They xrayed it recently thinking I had broken my collarbone but it wasn't that either. Every Dr from my surgeon, to Onc to Radiologist to family care can't figure out why it's happening but no one seems too concerned.
I've thought about it alot and feel that the first chemo must have heavily scarred my veins there and that's what is causing my problems? Liquid leaking into tissue?
During a recent procedure I noticed eveytime I turned my head to the left that my oxygen levels decreased by 8-10 points so I told my Onco Dr but he didn't seem very concerned. Maybe that 's why I feel dumber than ever.

andersonsrus - just sounds like you overdid it - alot! That is some major physical activity for a person that would be IN shape. Wow! Can you come to my house?
just kidding! Give it a little more time. I don't know what your history is but after having a breast cancer diagnosis, anytime there are unusual twinges, it does seem scary.
I didn't really have symptoms and I have multiple pelvic/hip/sacroiliac bone mets. My left hip hurt a bit but nothing that concerned me. It was my knee that had the pain. I let it go a long time because I chalked it up to over-exercising and being over 40. After about 8 months the pain just got steadily worse and I could barely walk on it. That said, if the pain continues and worsens, have it checked out. It's good that it does not keep you up at night. My knee sure kept me up.
Again, this just sounds like you way overdid it. I do like the tennis ball treatment. Never would have thought of that. Although something that small wouldn't help my big butt
.
Good luck!
Edited to add: I hope I don't sound like I'm blowing you off. I sincerely hope it is just a pulled muscle or something and not mets. Just get it checked if it gets worse or doesn't improve after a period of time - couple weeks or so. Remember, injured muscles take time to heal.

Sciatica? I am a runner and was having discomfort in the area. Runners often get it, its called piriformis syndrome. Icing and stretching has made it almost entirely go away.

it not the back of the leg closer to the crotch and inner thigh

I have read on here that a lot of ladies say "if it hurts for 3 weeks then get it checked out" --that is if you can live with it for 3 weeks. Tami

When I get that I know I need to stretch my "piriformis" muscle which is deep inside your inner thigh near your butt muscles. How I stretch it is I sit on the floor and put one leg in like "Indian style sitting" and the other leg stretched out to the back. Almost is if you were trying to do a split with the one leg "Indian sitting". Then, as I'm doing that I put each hand on the floor on either side of my sitting leg and lean over the sitting leg. You can feel the stretch right into your "Indian sitting" seat bone. This stretch always helps when I get that piriformis pain, or sciatica pain.

hi.
Could be hamstring pull or piriformis or SI joint.... Or radiating symptoms from lower back. PT consult could help.
