chemo befor surgery stage 3

has any one had chemo befor surgery invacive dcis stage 3 i have a tumer 7 cm and in the axillary lipnods dont know what to do they say i can do chemo or chemo with clinical trial  the computer picks. scared .

    Farfaith -

    You have Stage 3 Invasive Ductal Carcinoma (IDC).  You may also have a component of Ductal Carcinoma in Situ (DCIS, which is considered Stage 0).  The IDC is more serious and that's what they will focus on treating. 

    You will get better answers and more assistance if you post in the Stage III or IDC areas of the board (don't know which of the two would be more helpful to you).  Women with "pure" DCIS don't have the same treatments, so we won't know the answers or be able to help.
