Waiting for therapy

I had surgery on my right breast for invasive breast cancer 18 weeks ago.

A month or so after that I had a lumpectomy on my left breast and then about 5 weeks after that I had a reincision on the left side.

I've now had mapping  for my radiation therapy, but was told that the therapy itself probably wouldn't be for another 3 weeks which makes a total of 21 weeks in all since the first surgery.

I've had no chemo but am on Amiridex for the past 3 weeks.

Today I read that radiation therapy should begin within 12 weeks of surgery  and now I'm really nervous about the right breast.

Does anyone have a similar experience to report or any comments on this.  Thanks.
