My mother is a patient with advanced breast cancer and we just want to get some new treatments and useful advises from you.   The following is my mother's summary history,

 

   July 2008

   (my mother is at the age of 53) She took left internal mammary tumor resection operation.   The pathology after operation is invasive ductal carcinoma on the left breast plus with cancer metastasis on the left axillary lymph nodes 3/11, ER++, PR++, HER-2(++~+++).  She also took Chemotherapy for six courses by paclitaxel Liposome and THP after the operation.

  

   December 2008

   She took radiotherapy.  And she always took TAM and endocrine therapy thereafter.

 

   January 2010

   She was found lungs multiple transfer, endometrial thickening 9mm, uterine fibroids, real-like echo of the left ovary.  CEA7.18MG/L，CA-724 16.0u/ml,CA-153 34.05u/ml all above the normal standards. The estrogen was not lower than that of before menopause, Therefore, she took chemotherapy for another one course with the method of Docetaxel 120mgdl + Xeloda 3.5dl-14 .

 

   February 2010

   She removed uterus and ovarian pairs of attachment. The metastasis of carcinoma was not observed after surgery. Finally, she took chemotherapy for one course with Docetaxel + Cisplatin.

   

March 22,2010

She was found t Her-2/neu Oncogene was amplificated by fish examination, so she took targeted therapy with Herceptin440mgdl
