I've asked this question on the triple neg. B.C. website, as have many others. They all say the same thing. Take the day you were DXed as your start date. I'll be one year out on May 27, Mom on May 14th. So in May we will both be one year survivors.

I still don't like the word survivor..but I guess that is the way it is..there really is no word for what we have been through and/or still going through...for the rest of our lives.... I'm not big on the relays for live and pink stuff but I appreciate the work and care that people do to put breast cancer on the front page...

All I really want...is a cure..for my daughter and all of our daughters if they are ever confronted with this...and I really want someday to be a old lady and have someone ask me if I had breast cancer and I can look at them and say...HEH HEH..I don't remember...and wave my cane at them!

I am doing so well.  I'm at the mid point now.  I've made it 18 months without signs of recurrence and feeling strong.  That one of our blessings.  Another year and a half and I can start singing cured!!!!!!

Debonthelake  (and I love that name)...what lake are you on?  I have been to Cumberland Lake in KY...on a houseboat..it was so much fun!

I'm one year out...looking forward to that 18 month anniversary....
