Addi is a cutie pie!

Dear sisters once again I’m asking prayers for my elderly mother. She’ll be undergoing a procedure this morning at 12 noon to remove the 3 cm biliar stone from her liver. May the Great Surgeon God Almighty Creator of all direct His agents here in earth.
Aurora

Ade, praying that James realizes he has memory issues. Addy is so cute. Love, Jean
-
Addi, I love your beautiful curls. And the bow worn to the side ... how stylish is that?!? You are the cat's pajamas, little girl!
-
Prayer warriors! I really need your help! 1) my mother is having surgery 2) they found something in my daughter’s pelvic ultrasound and have sent her to get a CT scan stat 3) all the while I’m getting chemo today! I’m praying my heart out please help!
Aurora
-
Dear Jesus,
Please comfort Aurora, answer her every need, and give her strength.
I ask these things in Your name.
Amen.
-
Beautiful prayer, Joanne, thank you!
Aurora, you're on overload stress-wise. I pray the Lord will handle each and every situation with His powerful loving hand and that He will grant you His peace.
THANK YOU Jean!
May the Lord hold you all tightly today in His wonderful arms.
With love and prayers,
Ade
But blessed are those who trust in the Lord and have made the Lord their hope and confidence.
- Jeremiah 17:7 -
Lord, we pray for Aurora's mom's surgery and pray that she will come through with flying colors and that this will solve the problem. Give her your mighty strength during and after the surgery.
We pray for Aurora's daughter as she undergoes tests which are alarming. We pray for comfort, for wisdom and we pray against fear that can strangle our hearts and minds during times like these.
We pray for Aurora as she has her chemo treatment. I pray that you will envelope her in such peace that she will know that you are surrounding her with your love and comfort. We pray that her treatments will be on target and do their intended job.
Lord, we pray for Joanne as she and her family deal with sickness and family matters which have caused so much stress. Help her to see your hand at work in each of these situations and help her not to lose heart but be strengthened by your mighty hand.
Ade, your little Addi is adorable. If someone yells your name do you both come running:)
I can't seem to shake this stomach virus. I am guessing all the rounds of antibiotics I had with my cyst fiasco took a big toll on my system. I do take probiotics and lots of them.
Take care dear sisters.
Love,
Nancy -
Jean, praise God for the good news.
Ade, your granddaughter is adorable ! What a wonderful namesake.
Aurora, I pray for all of your many concerns during this difficult time, that God will carry you through in peace. These are tough to go through even when you are not going throug chemo yourself.
Joanne, know you are surrounded with many prayers.
Nancy, I pray daily for you and that God will touch your stomach with healing. You are a gift to us all and I lift you up for a special touch.
To all those I have not mentioned, I thank God daily for you all. You provide me with a tangible touch that reaches into my most dark places. To know I am not alone is priceless.
As an update; we visited Woodstock today. Can't believe it was almost 50 years ago... They got me a wheelchair so I could take my time in the museum and read everything. I have discovered how nice everyone is when you are in a wheelchair. I walk most of the time, but if it is over an hour, I accept help to minimize my hip pain. Tomorrow we see Wicked. I have done fine on this trip so far. My MO sent me an email and wants extra labs done today but they will have to wait until I return as there is no Kaiser here. I have no idea why the extra labs or what they are. This is new for me...I will get my labs and pills andstart the next cycle the day after I return. Halloween...oh joy! Btw, the foliage is gorgeous here in upstate NY. I can't send a picture as I haven't taken it off my phone yet.

Thank you for all your prayers. I’m a bit more relaxed now. My mom did made through with flying colors as you prayed. She’s resting now but no tumor no huge stone just hundreds of little ones that were easily dissolved.
Now as far as my daughter is concerned she has a tumor in one of her ovaries 5 cms, doctor said something that large can’t be considered a cyst so we’re left with tumor either benign or not she’ll need surgery. Biopsy coming up next Tuesday. She’s only 28 oh God please let it NOT be cancer in Jesus name Amen
After my chemo we all went to have lunch at IHOP and now enjoying a sunny breezy afternoon in SW Florida.
I’ll try my best not to think negative thoughts. Please keep praying.
Thank you
Aurora

"Run to Jesus!"
That is the best advice!
Thank you, dear Nancy..and I pray you will feel better soon.I know how it feels to be drained. Please try to get some much needed rest.
Dear Heavenly Father we ask that the tumor in Aurora's daughter's ovary is benign, and that the surgery will go smoothly with a fast recovery..Please ease the family's minds as they go through this together..bring healing where it is needed and let them rejoice in your goodness. In Jesus' name~Amen~
-
Chris, glad you are doing well on your trip. Yes, I guess we are the hippy generation (or at least I am) and I imagine you will see lots of pics VW buses or whatever we called them in the Woodstock museum! I love the Wicked music even though I have never seen it. That should be a treat. Enjoy. Enjoy your nice vacation visiting your family. Thank you for your prayers.
Aurora, we thank God for answered prayers for your Mom. We will continue to pray for your daughter and we will pray that this tumor is benign. I am glad you got to go to IHOP and I pray that you will stay positive and keep your eyes on the Lord. He will get you through this.
Lisa (NeverForsaken),thank you for your prayers. I pray you will get more info so you will know what treatment plan will be in place for you soon.
Have a great night dear ladies.
Love,
Nancy

Aurora, my ovarian cyst was between a walnut & smaller lemon in size (so large it pulled my ovary down into my abdomen) - but it WAS a cyst so don't panic just yet. We are all praying it is benign. Keep your eyes upon Jesus. He has this!
Love,
Ade

Thank you Ade I’ll try to be more positive but you know she’s my daughter and she’s just started her career as a lawyer she has a 6 yr old son.

Oh dear ladies I pray all prayers here are answered perfectly by our perfect Lord Jesus. For all who prayed for my grandson Bob to get a job, he starts one a week from Monday in NYC and is thrilled. Praise God. Thank you for praying. This has been a week of blessings and I pray that all of you will receive His blessings today. Love, Jean
-
Jean, you know I have prayed a lot for Bob to get a job so it increases all of our faith to see God at work in this situation.
For those waiting on God and hanging on in your situation know that He is a safe place to run to as you face the unknown.
Love,
Nancy

Nancy and all who prayed for my grandson Bob to get a job. He is in Ireland at the moment training with the company that hired him. Flight over and back and salary, room and board all covered! He comes back this week and starts the following Monday working for one of their clients in NYC. The company provides housing and a food allowance in NYC plus a salary. God provided a wonderful first job in his field. L ove, Jean. PS Below is the city in Ireland where he is staying.

Praise God Jean!

Joanne, I am always grateful for all the people who give of their time and money to go on walks whether it be for bc or any other worthy program that benefits people dealing with diseases. I pray that there will be some fantastic new research efforts that will open up the keys to this deadly disease we are all dealing with. When we look back many years we would not have had the many therapies that we have now so there is progress even though we would like it to happen faster that it seems it does.
I have had some good friends that just got back from a trip to Ireland. I can't wait to see some of their pics as one of them is my photographer friend that we take workshops and classes together and go out shooting together too. It sounds like Bob has a great job with many perks. That is such an answer to prayer.
I didn't sleep all night so it has been a difficult day. I know I need to have some blood work to recheck my thyroid levels but have had to put that off until I feel better.
Praying for a good week for all of us.
Love
Nancy

Dear sisters,
As we go about this day give yourself permission to rest. God wants to restore our souls and rest is one of those things we must to do help achieve that end.
In resting we can feel His peace and in peace we can feel strength building in our minds and our bodies. Take some time today to just do nothing. It will be good for you!
Love,
Nancy

I had a good rest today..Fell asleep for the hour and a half before my PET scan..I was surprised at how relaxed I felt!

Psalms 127:2
It is vain for you to rise up early, To stay up late, Eating the bread of toil; For he gives sleep to his loved ones. Love, Jean -
Jean, that's a wonderful line from psalms to remember. I don't believe I've ever read it
Hello everyone, I've been missing in action lately but I've been reading and praying for your needs and rejoicing in your good news. We've returned from a wonderful trip to Italy but I came home with a bad cold and severe jet lag. It's taking me awhile to recover and now I've got some back pain, probably from the travel. Two of our daughters were able to join us for a week and it was so great to share our love of Italy with them. I'm going to try to post a picture or two, hope it works.
I do have a prayer request, I'm having my six month PET scan on Friday and my anxiety is getting the best of me. I've been off Ibrance for three months now for a couple of reasons so I keep thinking the worst. I know I just have to trust in our wonderful Healing Lord, but it's hard sometimes. Never forsaken, I can't imagine falling asleep before a PET scan, how wonderful to be that relaxed.
I edited this post to change the pictures a bit.. It's wine tasting in Tuscany with our daughters and then me at Piazza Navona in Rome. I'll get the hang of this yet.
-
Faith send my prayers and We all are under God wings. Amen.
I’m asking for prayers for my neuropathy....... thank you,
Paulette
-
Faith, I am so thrilled to hear that you had a wonderful trip and I am so glad it all worked out for your daughters to join you and DH. You have a lovely family. You look fantastic. I prayed so many times that you would be able to enjoy it while you were there. I bet DH had a great time with his camera! Love the pics.
I'm sorry to hear you have a bad cold now. I was sick all last week with a stomach virus and just now getting back into my routine after being downstate with my mom. I will pray for your upcoming PET scan.
Lisa, praying for a good result with your PET scan. I am glad you had some rest beforehand.
Paulette, praying for your neuropathy. Do you have any meds to alleviate the nerve pain?
Jean, praying that Psalm will hold true. Insomnia is still an issue for me.
Ade, any break through on the grant for Jame's expensive meds? How are you doing?
Joanne, praying you and your family feel better and can get over the stuff going around!
Have a good night dear ladies.
Love,
Nancy
