Amen on those verses Nancy! Yes I'm still getting rads three more sessions to go. Last weekend was the worse I'm feeling better now I asked the doctor for more náusea medicine and they gave it to me. Also yesterday I started my new systemic treatment (Xeloda) which has its whole set of side effects so please pray they are mild or non-existent. Praying for each one here.

Nancy, your verses and banners always seem to be the right words at the right times. They are always comforting. I am feeling better, I think the lung infection is better. I still have some fatigue but I think it's just the SE's of the meds. Thank you for asking and praying for me and everyone here

I haven't posted much because I'm having trouble with the keyboard on my iPad. There's a lag that drives me crazy ever since I updated it. I'm going to have to take it in but there's just too much going on to take the time to do it. I'm not sure if I congratulated you on getting your calendar published and into a gift shop. I hope it's selling well. You should be very proud of yourself. That's quite an accomplishment.

I've been reading and praying for all the needs here as there seem to be so many. Satan is really working hard all over the world. We need to pray for our dear sisters who are so ill and have family problems too. It just doesn't seem fair. And we need to pray for this country, no matter who wins this election, I feel there will still be so much turmoil in this country and the world.

Thank you Faith. I continue to pray for you. Computer problems when you are dealing with so much is very disappointing I am sure. After having my computer with the Geek Squad for several days a few weeks ago it is still not right.

I am watching a nail biter with the Cubs and the Indians in the 7th inning stretch.

My calendars are going over well. It is a gamble to know how to prepare if I need to put in another order or not. This is new territory for me for sure. I am just amazed at what the Lord has done and I am happy that it is published and out now. I put a ton of hours into this project but it was a lot of fun and a lot of work all at the same time.

I am enjoying this weather. I still have flowers in bloom as if it was the middle of summer. Pretty unreal for this late in October but I am not complaining.

Aurora, I am so glad to hear that you have been able to continue your rads and so glad to her you only have three more treatments. I will be praying for you new chemo drug. I hope the nausea meds will help you deal with all the SE's. I continue to pray for you.

I hope you and all the ladies have a good weekend and that the stress that so many are going through can be alleviated by some pleasant distractions or better yet by a miracle of God.

Nancy, your post of Psalm 23 was an amazing conformation. I gave a testimony last night and opened with a meditation on that very psalm! Thank you.

I am grateful this early morning that I was finally able to share with my hubby about what's going on with our granddaughter Alexia . Such a blessing to be able to share, comfort each other and pray for them. Please pray for my daughter and her husband as they decide what to do about the baby. Also for their marriage as they've been living apart since the my granddaughter had the breakdown in July. They have been married for 28 yrs and they say they're ok but I worry. I hope my daughter goes back home soon.

Today I am grateful for a wonderful visit with the kids and my great granddaughter Valentina . It looks like they are leaning toward keeping her! We offered any help, financial, emotional, actual caregiving and anything else we could do. Please keep praying for them and my missing granddaughter. I also think we need to pray earnestly for the election and the future of our country. Hope you all had a blessed weekend. Love , Jean

Charlotte, Nancy, Jean, Lita and all of my sisters on this website....sorry for radio silence but this past week has

been anything but uneventful. My doctors where I work here in Huntsville, AL ( I am a nurse at a 6 surgeon ophthalmology

practice) have overwhelmed me with support, love, friendship and you name it ! I have completed my pre-op labs, EKG and

chest x-ray and am good to go. My surgery is Tuesday at 3 pm; I have a wonderful surgical team, and working in the medical

field I sort of have carte blanche of who I want....and I have the two best surgeons in Huntsville. My co-workers and the

doctors all wore pink on Friday in support and honor of me; I cannot begin to tell you how touching that was; I had all I

could do to get through the day. My family is assured and at peace to know that I am loved and cared for by my peers. My church

has set up a meal plan for me and my at home care-taker once I leave the hospital.....there are no words to express the happiness

and gratitude that I feel in my heart. And most importantly, my heavenly Father has seen to it that everything has fallen into place for

me.

Charlotte, I am praying for your grand-daughter...I can relate to substance abuse; my youngest son went through a "mess" in

his life, but triumphed over it.

Lita, have you ever heard of "bone broth"? Amazon sells the powder form and it helps connective tissue problems...also taking

turmeric twice daily is suppose to help inflammation from any joint or musculo-skeletal issue; I have tried it and the arthritis

in my neck does not bother me as much as it use to. I have no oncology follow-up as yet, but it's coming soon pending the

pathology results of my cancer and the lymph nodes, then my oncologist can better map out a proper care plan, I am confident.

Ladies you might want to make note of these surgeries for prayers.

Patty- Tuesday, November 1 surgery. Patty are you have a bilateral mastectomy. I thought so but please correct me if not.

Charlotte- Thursday, November 3, Gallbladder removed and taking a break from her chemo for SE to subside,

Ellen- November 17 hip replacement

Patty, I am so glad that you are feeling so loved and supported. That makes a huge difference. We will be praying for you for you Tuesday surgery and future treatments.

If I have any of these things wrong please correct me.

Nancy, I am sorry that I have been "off radar" for a while but in response to your 10/23 post....my surgeon ordered an MRI because that

is, and if it is not, it should be the protocol for "invasve lobular" carcinoma. My surgeon left general practice after several years and did another

fellowship in breast cancer and now that is all he does is breast cancer surgery, as does his partner. I have had a second opinion and the

second surgeon's "MO" is the same. I am glad that I did get the MRI because it revealed several other lesions undetectable by ultrasound.

And I believe I have posted that because of this, the incidence of recurrence in the same breast is increased as it is in the fellow breast; my

choice, after all options were given to me, was to have bilateral surgery with reconstruction. I have chosen not to be a "sitting duck" for the

cancer to reoccur in the same breast by just having multiple lumpectomies, or for it to occur in the fellow breast. I don't believe that God is

finished with me yet. There is a reason why I have been dealt " a bad hand"; and I am on track of figuring it out. Thanks for your prayers

the 2016 World Series. As I was watching the game tonight, I saw my cousin, Joe Torre on

camera view. He has done a lot for baseball as has his brother Frank. If you have not read

the book, The Yankee Years, get it and read it....it's a great book. Mr. Steinbrenner was right

to keep him as manager for so long.

Tata/Patty, I make my own bone broth in the crock pot, and I also use turmeric and drink a turmeric tea, its the only way I can walk ).

Thanks Patty for the reply. I will be praying. I have just been hearing about bone broth from Dr. Axe (sp?) and I saw him with Jordin Rubin giving a pitch for bone broth protein powder which sounded interesting. I had read that Tumeric could interact badly with my AI so I sent back the bottle I had just ordered after reading that. I have fibromyalgia and pain from ???AI possibly. I am a lap swimmer and that helps. I am praying for you this week as well as for Charlotte.

Lita, good for you for making your own bone broth. I see an alt doctor so have been into the alternative world for many years. However I have had many bad reactions to things with my AI which has been a bummer.

Yes, it is high time the Cubs win a series. Then they will have to get rid of their title of the lovable losers!!!!

Hi everyone, as always praying for the needs of everyone here. I just wanted to share that my daughter was hired today on the spot! It's not her ideal job but it can lead there. Please pray for her to be able to secure a permanent position as this one is temporary, but praise God! we really need the income.

I have two more radiation sessions left, my knee still hurts when I walk though. I started my new oral chemo last week and so far there has been no negative se's. Please pray that this medication kicks the mets to the curb!

Hello! I am new to this site..... just diagnosed last month with IDC, Right, Grade II, ER+/PR+, HER2-

I am 59, ...... never in a million years did I expect to have BC!!!! I have had 4 melanomas, 2 Basal Cell Ca (one with skin grafting), and Cervical Cancer when I was pregnant 30 years ago! (refused hysterectomy/abortion). I keep thinking that I've met my cancer quota!

I go tomorrow for my Plastics Consult and then surgery will be scheduled. Even though my tumor is small and at this point it looks like lymph nodes are not involved I'm opting for bilat Mastectomy with reconstruction..... I think they do muscle sparing Trams - I'll know more tomorrow. Not looking forward to surgery but I have a great Onc/Plastics team, and have a lot to be grateful for........I could not do this without the Lord... O' that Peace that transcends understanding.........

Well....... I'm joining you all on this journey, learning so much from all the wonderful supportive women that have walked this road-testimonies, prayers, and encouragement are extremely helpful!!!!

WOW I can't believe it! I have been trying all this time to post and couldn't log back in.

I have read every one of your posts and have been praying for you all.

I wanted to thank you again for praying for my James. Yesterday the Infectious Disease Specialist found NO abnormalities in his blood tests OR CT Scan! Just some "old spots" on his liver, spleen & lungs that the doc wasn't concerned about. The Lord answered our prayers! James is even getting more muscle strength! I am SO SOOO grateful! Now that I can get back in I shall return soon. Love to you all! Ade

Let's pray for Charlotte for her gallbladder surgery for Thursday, Nov. 3. She is in the middle of chemo and has had so stop for bad SE so she definitely needs our prayers as she has a lot going on.

Let's pray that Patty has a good and speedy recovery from her bilateral mastectomy yesterday.

We ask that when she goes back on her treatment that You would eliminate the side effects please and give her smooth sailing to defeating cancer.
