How to have Breast Cancer Fund Raiser

Hi everyone not sure if this is in the right place But I want to have a fund raiser in my town and not sure where I need to start. If someone could help me out. Do I need to ask someone to do this. Do I need permits or anything. 100% of anything made will go the same day or next day to breast Cancer research. If you can help me please email me. I was thinking a bake off or a walk or a run or something here in my tiny little town. I know that every little penny helps.
