Hello everyone!

This year as my fiance and I began to plan our wedding, his mom began her fight against breast cancer.  She's got 3 rounds of chemo behind her so far, shaved her head, and learned the hard way not to use the microwave while wearing a wig.  All in all she's in good spirits.

We've come up with a creative way to make a BIG donation to Race for the Cure this year (which I always run).

We entered a contest where the grand prize is a paid-for wedding.  If we win, we'll donate the money we would've spent on a wedding to the Komen Race for the Cure... PLUS- my employer matches all charitable donations I make!

To win we need votes, and votes are free!!!

His mom is really touched by the number of people who have come out to support us on this.  And she's also very excited to see her only child get married, and we're hopeful she'll celebrate the day happy and healthy.

If you happen to know someone who's raising a fund for aids touched people, I found this great website (http://www.fundraisingforacause.com) that sells great fundraising merchandise like banners, thank you cards and bracelets, Everything is great quality and very low priced. We set up a table outside of walmart and sold the merchandise and raised $600! It is an easy way to raise money.
