Swimsuits

Well, it's that time of the year again!  I've put on a few lbs. over the last 2 years, and the swimsuits I initially bought after my mastectomy have been "outgrown" due to my "chemo baby".  So I've been trying to find something that fits and works for me.

I'm somewhat long-torsoed, so a lot of suits end up with the bra being too low.  Plus a lot of tankini tops are too short.  I ordered a top from Lands End, and the cup size is too big - it would easily fit a C, and I'm a large A.

I was looking on-line, and came across this on the Kohl's site:

It's perfect!  No worry about leaning over and showing what you don't have!  And it's long enough that you don't have to worry about showing any skin.  I'll just have to sew a pocket in it.  Actually, I could probably just pin a foam form into it - I do that with another suit I have, and it worked fine.  I have a skirted bottom that will work perfect with it.  It looks like they only have a size 10 right now, but the sizes offered changes, as people return them, so if they don't have your size, just keep an eye on it and see if your size becomes availalable.

Amoena has a couple of suits that have this style of neckline/halter type, but I'm too heavy to pull off that kind of print, and I like having a skirt that covers the top of my thighs, which are looking pretty flabby these days.  Too bad they don't offer a tankini top in that style.  I do have an Amoena tankini top that I bought on sale last year, but it's really too short - it barely meets the top of the bottoms, and I just don't want a "muffin top" showing.
