I know there are quite a few of you from Canada, so I was wondering if you girls (or any of the rest of you) have ever heard of DCA, or dichloralacetate sp?  My friend had me watch something on youtube about it.  Surely nothing to get too excited about as most of the videos are from 2007, but I still like the no stone unturned approach, as one of my other friends put it recently. 

Long story short, it says it's an inexpensive drug that pharmaceutical companies can't make any money off of, so no one wants to fund trials for it.  They showed a tumor on a rats back that shrunk to like 1/3 the size after 3 weeks of having a solution of this drug and water.  Also, it doesn't attack healthy cells.  Definitely sounds too good to be true.  Inexpensive, kills cancer fast, and doesn't make you sick, yeah right. 

Like I said, I couldn't go without mentioning it though.

Yeah, I've seen that clip too. I wonder how many other drugs are not researched because there is no money in it - same as why they don't do big studies on diet/exercise....who would fund it.

It's frustrating.

Like I said before, my doc told me that he is not going to offer to me all that stuff that is "out" there, simply because not all women can afford it, and he has to treat all equally.

( Like I had the matab. test) and I was mad, because I had to figure out the test options by myself.

Its very simple, ......its a $$$$$$$$$$ issue.
