Scratchy Nipple on the Problem One

Ok I'm happy to have had 13 years cancer free, but lately my nipple on that breast bothers me similarly to when I breastfed.  I see nothing.  It used to happen occasionally, but in the last two weeks, quite often.  I don't see anything or feel unusual changes, but the irritation is unmistakable.  Anyone have experience like this?  I suddenly want to call my doc in the middle of the night, because my cancer elephant just grew to the size of the whole house.
