Aspirin

Did anyone see the report that was just released regarding aspirin and breast cancer recurrance rates?  http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/5059891

I am very interested in this report, as I really am very leery of Tamoxifen. I know it's the protocol for estrogen positive breast cancer, but honestly wish there were something that wasn't so hard on the body. 

I found this article interesting, esp. since I have been doing a lot of reading about anti-inflammatory diets (Anti Cancer and Dr. Andrew Weil). Seems the aspirin does help with inflammation greatly.

Given that women who've had DCIS have an almost non-existant risk of distant metastatis I'm not sure this is relevant.

 The women in that study had invasive cancer so they had metastatic risk. Plus it was an observational study meaning they found an association but no statistic proof of causation.
