Radiation Therapy Starts March 2010

Hi Everybody,

I finished chemotherapy February 2nd 2010, thank goodness, and am soon to start radiation therapy March 2 2010.   (21 sessions).

I have Invasive Ductal Carcinoma and Infiltrating Lobular Carcinoma (Rt Breast)  Stage 1 Grade 2 and just over 1cm 

Where I will be going for radiation therapy they do not give out creams, however they do hand out a pamphlet recommending different creams and one of them is Aloe Vera Gel (I will probably pick up a bottle of this)...

So look forward to this treatment too being over with...

All this started for me back in September and October with the surgeries..

I bet you will breeze through rads.... start using the PURE aloe vera after the first rad... it really helped me.  We have almost the same dx---except the PR-.  Mine is strongly PR+.  Congratulations on almost being done with treatment! My one year anniversary is March 4th.  Wishing you peace and health.  Tami

Thank you for replying to my message....

I will on Friday be going up to the mall to do banking and at that time will go to Shoppers Drug Mart and pick up a bottle of Aloe Vera Gel.

I am praying that all will go well with my radiation therapy.  I already have asthma and the Radio Therapist told me there is the possibility of lung damage ?  (well my lungs seem to be effected by the chemo drugs as I still coughing allot and also more breathless than I was previous to chemo).
