Simultaneous ILC

 Is there anyone who has been diagnosed with simultaneous ILC in both breasts?  My sister has just been diagnosed with ILC and she is planning to have surgery in the next days.  I am afraid that if the cancer is the both breasts it may already be in the nodes.

    Bilateral cancer does not mean it will be in the nodes.

    I am so sorry your sister has been diagnosed.

    The hardest thing is to wait for pathology so you/she have a plan of action.

    Don't rush things and don't presume the worst.

    ILC is a slower growing cancer and if things are caught early, she may have small tumor and no nodes.   

    Best to her and to you.  What a sweet sister you are.
