Did anyone do the avastin trial with tc chemo?

i was just wondering is there anyone else on the Avastin Trial to be used in conjunction with TC chemo regime, but you stay on the Avastin for 12 months , you get the avastin by iv every three weeks?

i have not came accross anyone else that seems to be on this at the minute, i finished chemo and rads last year and will finish Avastin in June 2010. It helps the chemo work better and stops blood vessels forming for new tumours or so they are hoping. i think it is only for the treatment of early trible negative breast cancer at the minute, stage 2 and stage 3. I would love to hear from you if you are.

I too was on Avastin for 12 months,until sep. of 2008.Tolerated well. IDC

stage three erpr positive 10 out of 13 nodes.going on three years in 7/10.

Feeling pretty good now.

I was in the trial, but once unblinded found that I was receiving placebo.  There is a thread here for people that are or were in the Avastin trial.  It's under the Help be get through this treatment area.
