How Do you Deal with This

Pure, I was dx Oct 06, then a year later I was dx with congestive heart failure. I never thought that I would be here now, but here I am about to start school on Wednesday. Since I was dx I have know about 7 people who died of different things. Heart attacks, and many other things. My point is if you had lined all of us up 2 years ago and asked someone who would die first I know everyone would have picked me. I would have picked me too, the people that died looked healthier than I did. You are still in the middle of your treatments so its natural for you to have fears. Once you are done and the dust settles you will think about it less and take back your life. If BC stories makes you sad try to avoid them if you can, I know its hard not to read them but you might feel better if you just don't read them right now.

I think you said your dh had cancer 10 years ago and beat it, and you will too. Hold on to that man and your babies they will pull you out of the cancer quick sand. God Bless

Thanks for all your responses. I think in a lot of ways I am preparing for this to be over. After tommorow I have only 8 weeks left. I know how quick it will go and I am anticipating life after this. I can't believe its almost over and I am trying to adjust my thinking a bit.
