Did Anyone do Zometa and Not Have Side Effects

So I had my taxol followed by zometa,
They cut the decatron down but I woke up at 3am and only slept 5 hours. My mood is QUITE elevated but not feeling as speedy as last week.
I have a runny noise (slight) but that is it.
No pain, no nausea, no nothing!!!!! I know I still have my prego hormones in my body as I am only 2 weeks out but come on I thought for sure Zometa would hit me a bit.

I only had side effects with the first 4mg dose but it wasnt for over 24 hours. Had infusion in am - went to work, woke up next am feeling a bit off, by that afternoon I felt rough enough to go home from work a bit early, by that night I was shivering, fever, every bone in my body hurt - worst than I ever felt during chemo - took ibuprophen AND tylenol and by 10pm I was starting to feel better. Felt a bit hungover for a day or two afterwards.
Next infusion - didnt have a problem.

It hit me late too - I had my infusion in the evening, and I was fine the next morning. By the next evening I felt quite sorry for myself - fluey mostly. Took myself off to bed early, and was OK the next morning.
Got my 2nd one in March, I've realised it is right in the middle of March break, so hoping for no SE's!

Same with me. I had the infusion in the morning, went to the beach in the afternoon and by the end of the next day I was feeling pretty bad. I'm going for my second infusion next week and I'm expecting to be sick the next day (I hope this doesn't happen). I'm also getting an iron infusion and I'm hoping for no side effects from that but we'll see.
Pure, you could be one of the lucky ones that doesn't have any SE's. I hoping that for you. Congratulations on the new baby.

I had the zometa infusion one week after my last taxol. The zometa was given over 30 minutes without any additional drugs. I had no side effects. I am feeling still a bit tired from 12 taxols. I really don't think the zometa effected me much. Thank goodness.

The first infusion gave me flu-like symptoms for a few days -fever, malaise, etc. With the second infusion, I had no problems whatsoever.

First dose side effects...2nd...3rd...4th. Nothing.

I started Zometa about half way through chemo (TAC) in 2006. I never had any side effects from the Zometa. I would get my infusion in the morning then go to work and most days I went to the gym that evening. Now Arimidex, that's a different story.

My wife got the first IV of Zometa last night. Tonight she's feeling very bad, with headache and nausea...

Hope she'll be better soon.
