Kathy, welcome to a spiritual safe haven for those who believe and enjoying gazing at the wonders of what our God creates each day for us.
-
Thanks, Barbe, So glad to be here!!!!! God bless you, Kathy
-
Welcome, Kathy.
I just feel like if we got together, it would be as if we were neighbors on the same street, just as if we'd known each other for years. Thank you for the encouragement, support, and shoulders to cry on (Eph, sorry about that last night).
2011 is going to be better...it is!
-
Dear Meece, You are so sweet!!!! Where in CA, do you live?? my sons live in Redondo Beach and Hermosa Beach. My husband is retiring soon, so we will be headed out there soon. We miss our sons so much, but we won't miss Indiana winters. God bless you, Kathy
-
Thank you, Kathy. I live in the San Joaquin Valley. I had my birthday dinner last year down in Redondo Beach. That was beautiful. You will love the winters here, and get the benefit of being near your boys!
God Has blessed me, and continues to do so.
-
Meece, You might not be able to tell from the photo, but I have BROAD shoulders (even tho one is messed up!)
-
Yes, and a wet one, too!

Daisy finally called me this afternoon to let me know she entered the orders. So I called and scheduled the mammo, US and possible Bx for tomorrow at 11:00 am. DH has a meeting so I will be braving LA traffic by myself, but I have done it many times before. DH just doesn't like me going by myself, and has only allowed it once since we married. Once less worry off my plate...
-
Dear Meece, Prayers are coming your way, for a safe journey and good reports. God bless you, Kathy
-
Meece...I'm glad you didn't have to wait for your appointment.
Holding your hand and will be Thinking of You all day tomorrow.
♥ ♥ ♥
-
((((Meece)))) We will all be with you in spirit and prayer.
-
Meece, I'm praying that the Lord with hold you up through it all and calm your fears. ♥ May everything go well tomorrow.
Kathy, it is great to see you here. It is a wonderful, peaceful place to come.
-
My thanks go out to all of you. I really hope that it will have all disappeared since the MRI and that will be the end of it.

Blest Be the Tie That Binds
---------------------------------------------------------------------------1. Blest be the tie that binds
our hearts in Christian love;
the fellowship of kindred minds
is like to that above.2. Before our Father's throne
we pour our ardent prayers;
our fears, our hopes, our aims are one,
our comforts and our cares.3. We share each other's woes,
our mutual burdens bear;
and often for each other flows
the sympathizing tear.4. When we asunder part,
it gives us inward pain;
but we shall still be joined in heart,
and hope to meet again. -
-
Thank you, MissBianca, I just love being here and feel blessed to be among such wonderful women. God bless you, Kathy
-
Meece, we will be in your pocket tomorrow so lean gently on us when you need us!
Much love,
-
Meece, prayers going with you tomorrow. I am glad too that you did not have to wait. As barbe1958 said, lean on us and our prayers are for a good result for you. Please be careful in your travels. God Speed and much love.
My chemo schedule is messed up because we are in the bulls-eye of the winter storm here in Illinois. I got moved to tomorrow morning for my last chemo treatment if my Dr. and team can make it down here. We may have to stay in town at our son's house for a couple of days if the storm pans out like predicted with 18 inches of blowing, drifting snow. I can't take a chance on staying out here in the country and lose our electricity as the temps are to get down to 10 below 0. I can't be here if power goes out and we have no heat. I'd get sick for sure.
Then it is to continue to drift Wednesday and I am supposed to see my surgeon and get my first mammograqms too on Thursday if I can get there. Such a bad time for me to deal with this weather. Mammos have to be done before I see the Radiation Oncologist on the 11th.
I may be away from the computer for a few days but Meece, I'm sure going to be thinking about you tomorrow and praying all day.
Hugs,
Juanita
-
Juanita...your post reminded me of the last chemo I had the first time around. It came a snow storm while I was taking the treatment and it took us 9 hours to get home, normally a 2 1/2 hour trip. We had the best time on that trip...full of laughs. Enjoy your visit with your son and congrats on your last chemo tx.
Meece...saying prayers for you tomorrow also.
I had a wonderful day with my Dad today. Two days straight without a mini stroke...yeah!!! We actually ventured out and did some shopping and visiting with friends...Praise God!!!
-
Thinking of you, and more importantly praying for you, Meece, tomorrow. We'll be in your pocket, close to your heart, holding your hand, sharing our love. May God's peace and prescence be near all day!
Thinking of you too, Juanita. God knows and understands the trials and will help you through.
-
Karen, what a blessing the past days have been for you and your dad. May the good days continue.
Juanita, I will be praying for the successful coordination of your final chemo, and a warm place for you to recouprate!
Thank you everyone for your prayers. DH changed his schedule and will be traveling with me today. I am confident that it is going to be clearing up.
Perhaps I should wear a top like this today. But I think I need even more pockets for all of my sisters!

Clocking in.
Available to add prayers to the garden this morning to all in need.
Especially praying for you Meecie, dearest. You can do this. You can. Deplorable that you must, but no sense in spending any energy on that concept.
Yesterday I got to play in the "garden-of-blessedness-of-the-beach."
I was graced with a picture that I will always treasure.
I think that I captured a bit of the Holy Spirit, surveying heaven's glisten.
Meecie. Know that we are here for you.

Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.
Strength and courage.

I want to be in the bright blue one on your heart Meece!!! Besides, I haven't felt breasts for a long time and it might be nice...

Faith, you caught diamonds on the water!!!! I used to see them when I was a kid and wondered where they went when I grew up. Then I realized that I had to be lower to the water.....
-
An absolutely amazing picture, Faithie. Thank you. Isn't it amazing that Our Creator took into account each little twinkle when he made the water?
-
-
Ooooh, I know you have my name somewhere in the disk of yours Faith!!!
-

For all those gathered here, under the grace-of-the-garden, I send you prayers of encouragement for the journey that you navigate. We are held in the palm of His hands.
Sending hope to each and every individual tending their own garden.
Holding each of you close in prayer and hope.
Hope.
Hope.
Hope.
Hope.
Hope.
Hope.
Hope.
