OG56 my heart goes out to you. The violation of your trust is just hidious!
-
OG56: I'm sorry you have to go through so much. Will keep you in my prayers.
Zumbagirl: My son is fine now. His pediatric onc told us that teens tend to rebel once they are through their treatment. Boy oh boy, that sure was the truth. My son went on a 3 year self-destructive path. Praise God he survived that road of destruction. One day out of the blue, he asked my husband and I if we would bring him to some friends for prayer. Slowly, he returned to the son we knew he was. Thank God!
Barbe: How are you and your DH feeling. Any news?
Meece: Are you feeling better?
Evebarry: Love the footprints poem!
I pray:
"The Lord bless you and keep you; The Lord make His face shine on you, and be gracious to you; The Lord lift up His countenance on you, And give you peace." Numbers 6:24-26

Thank you ladies for your prayers, it is so wonderful to have friends whether online or in person it is what gets me through the tough times.
Linda

Linda, it is special, isn't it! I come to you ladies when I have my fears and scares, too.
The doctors office phoned with my ultrasound appointment for the neck nodules. December 7th!! I said that was ridiculous, didn't they know I'm a cancer patient?? The idiot at the doctors office said I could phone myself if I wanted. So I did. My appointment is Monday at 1. I HATE that girl at the doctor, she 'forget's things and doesn't treat issues with the correct seriousness...sigh. I had to ask my doc when I was there last week about how my DH's test went. He said he hadn't seen it...strange. The next day he calls with all the bad news!!! Did the idiot mis-file or just file it so the doc didn't see it??
God forgive me for saying 'HATE'.
-
that is such good news. I am sorry he had to go through some rough spots, but I am glad he came back around :O)
-
We just have to manage our own medical care darn it! I feel sorry for people who don't know how (:
I know my 80 year old parents Dr's aren't happy to see me coming LOL

Barbe, I burst out laughing at your declaration about your new appt date!!!! Did you call the doctor's office back to let them know?
-
Joni, the results will go by her desk next week so she'll know.
I'd like to know what's going on with Meese. I've read between the lines some stress/tension/grief or something hovering over her. Meese, sweetie, what's happening?
-
Barbe I can't believe that she told you to call yourself... no concept of customer service
How are you doing meece? OG56? Jean?
-
Barbe good luck on Monday with your Ultrasound.
I was also wondering about Meece?((hugs))

Yesterday, I wrote a brief outline of some of my stress, and just before I could hit send, my computer shut down because of the battery. Thank you so much for your concern.
My main issue is work. A coworker at corporate has gone to the VP with some lies about my work, which has caused them to postpone my permanent hiring. The HR manager called to offer me the job which would have started today. 30 minutes later, she called back to rescind the offer because of what this woman had said. She said they would wait another two weeks to see. Minutes after that call, the trouble maker called, calling me Sweetie and said she just hadn't looked into the issue enough and just found out that the issues were a problem with the computer programming and were not my fault. But she didn't tel corporate. When HR called Friday to see how I was doing (She knew that this had me upset) I told her of the lie that had been told. She said the VP had already discovered it, but I was still on hold for awhile. I am being punished for this woman's jealousy and lying. It has made me hate a job I loved.
I am frustrated that I see people who have less than acceptable values get rewarded for their behavior. In my self pity I wonder "when is it my turn?" But I know when that time is, and I am not willing to compromise my beliefs in hopes of a reward while here on earth. It just hurts so much. I suppose I have been depressed as a result and I need to kick myself in the pants and shake it off.
Barbe, good luck with the US today. So glad you could make it happen.

OG, I am so sorry about your news. When I read of it this weekend, it brought to mind that my issue is small in the scheme of things. May you stay strong as you let God work through this with you.

Oh Meece, that's what I've just been through at my work! I am on short-term disability! It was so smart of me. They can't fire me while I'm off, and knowing I could do this made me not quit in a panic. I NEED this job for it's benefits!!!
I am heading for long-term disability as I just can't handle the stress of social interaction any more. The lies! The mind games! The hidden agendas! The clawing at my faith and my good nature!!
I give up! I have turned the other cheek so often that at one job, a new girl jumped in to protect me and gave the bullys her piece of mind for me. Psychologists have told me that bullys can 'sense' those of us that are vulnerable and they go in for the kill. I LOVED my job for three years until I got a new manager. She caused me to loose $50,000 a year in my potential income and I have proof on paper!! They put me into a location far away from everyone else so I sat by myself 30 miles away from my original desk with no support or team around me. I just couldn't stand it any longer.
It IS so hard! We shouldn't have to prove our innocence! Why can't others know what these horrid women/men are doing to us??? Bullying is just so prevalent and I can't handle it. I don't fight back because I know I'm innocent and that makes me look guilty!!! Why should I have to defend myself at WORK???? It's not an army or war situation but it sure feels like it!
My heart goes out to you Meece. I know what you mean when you say she's ruined a job you love. They say you quit a boss, not a job.
-
Meece, I am so sorry to hear about your job. It's not over yet...Romans 8:28...all things work together for the good ... We know that God is the redeemer of all things. A few years back, there was a woman at work, who wanted to take over my position. She tried to stir up trouble with lies and etc. It literally brought me to my knees. For a few weeks, I felt as if I was dying inside. In the end, she left, and I became stronger and better for it. It's a long story, but God used what happen to make where I work a better place. I'll be praying for you.
-
Amen, Jo
-
Meece, i'm so sorry you're having trouble at work. i also know that job is important to you. i will be praying for you, as i always do; but now more specifically that the truth will out.. God is faithful!!!
Barbe: did you have the us? or DH? is all well?.....3jays

I had the ultrasound today and they did an immediate biopsy. Results in 5 days. Just above my clavical. I heard them say "scattered, but there are two together". The one they went for was between my jugular and another vein so she just took one sample but said she thinks she got a good one. My DH wasn't with me so I still haven't quite processed it. Came home to my DH and his sister who is here with her SO for two days. They are staying at the Inn.
-
Remember Meece God has everything in control and knows what's best before we do. I will be praying for you.
-
Meece ~ So sorry, I don't understand why people have to be downright mean and minipulative! They are ususally very unhappy or angry people.
Barbe ~ I will be praying for you and your DH.
Jo ~ Thanks for sharing the scriptures with us!
Hugs to all you precious women!
-
The scriptures posted lately have been so helpful and I'm thankful that they are posted.
I'm scheduled for surgery next Monday for the tumor in the left breast. Surgeon wants a chest x-ray to make sure the lungs are stable. Surgery is not till 1 p.m. That'll be a long, long day.
Been praying and thinking of you women and the issues going on in each of our lives. For all the concerns here (health, jobs, spouses, fears etc.,) hold onto the promise of Jesus "and surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age." Jean
