I Come to the Garden...

Wow, that's a lot of weight very quickly! I was going to ask about gestational diabetes (I had that with my first) but am glad to know she is not presenting with it. Prayers are being made until we hear the words of it's birth (boy/girl? have they told you yet?)
JO, that was a beautiful explanation! Sheila once mentioned about the Big Sleep that I had never heard of and then I think she got scared off because I asked about it. But I asked out of curiosity abnd then I see mention of it in one of your quotes. I like how my next breath will be with the Lord, but then do I go to sleep?

Hi ladies I am home from in patient hospital. I went in on Mon and came home on Wednesday I had to have iv for shingles. I am all healed up. Also we went to race in the park my niece came in 2nd for the 5k and 12th for the 5k WE had a great time.
-
lynniea-glad you made home-I understand shingles is not for the faint of heart!
-
Tired. And so many changes at work I'm praying God will help me to have the right attitude there.Tamoxifen makes me very tired, my get-up-and-go has gotten-up-and gone. Even my prayer/Bible time has been hard to maintain. I need to get that back in place. I'm sure it will help with everything.
Linniea, glad your shingles are healing!
Meece, praying for the sweet new baby and your DS!
Blessing all!

faithroad, I have no idea of the "rules" of Tamox, but I'm on Femara & when I took it in the AM I was fatigued by 11AM beyond belief & stiffer than the lumber used to build my house. After 3 months of taking it in the morning I switched to bedtime & I was "cured". No more napping @ lunchtime unless I wanted to. Helped with joint pain & misc other problems. Just throwing it out there.
-
Eph 3 12
Thank you for throwing that out there. I think I may try that! Otherwise it's going to be a long five years. I take other meds at night and was concerned about mixing them. But it sure can't hurt to try it.

-
Thank you ladies for your prayers. We must remember God hears all of our prayer, be they for healthly delivery of a baby or healthy attitudes during our treatments. When you don't think you can deal with it, God has made a way for you. Maybe that way is just to visit here and gain support for the other wonderful women here, maybe in some other way.
Surely the presence of the Lord is in this place...
-
I believe God kept me thorough it I had no pain and not itching. I feel great now I start my second round of chemo on the 19Th of May
-
And JO, you handle those questions with finnesse!
Thank you all for being here!
-
Thanks JO that is what I've always believed. I was thrown off by the Big Sleep (sounded more like a Stephen King novel to be honest) but am always willing to open my ears to new things.
-
I thought it sounded like a Woody Allen Movie myself. Not trying to offend anyone, but it was the first thing that came to my mind.
As I am not a good :Waiter" I look forward to absent from the body, present with the Lord.
-
Me too, Meece!!! Jo- again a great explanation! And so diplomatically done.
Lynniea-so glad you are doing better. Sorry!!! -
-
Our sister, Seyla lost her father today. I am sure she could use some prayers, comfort, and support.

-
Sheila, may the Lord hold you gently as He comforts you during this dark period. But please know, He holds your Father in His other arm. God Bless you and your family.
-
I am here to wish barbe a happy birthday. May you enjoy every minute of it.
-
Oh my goodness JO-that sounds like some of our family reunions in Oklahoma back in the day! Have a wonderful time! I'm sure that God will surround you all.
Barbe's gonna have a busy, fun day today--Happy Birthday.
Prayers for Sheila heading upward as we speak.
-
sorry about your Dad, sheila.. 3jays -
JO, where are you all going? We took the kids on a cruise once about 10 years ago, but now they all have partners and kids so the only way would be to rent a large house somewhere. How did you find it??
Thanks for the good wishes, I'm at work looking busy by typing in my office. So no one interrupts me...hehehehe.
-
ive always belived the same, Jo: told everyone when my mom died while sleeping, that she took a breath, and woke up in Jesus' arms... 3jays
