Your headache will get better,I am sorry you have them, but it does happen. So don't worry , it will pass.
I am happy your labor went relatively quickly and the little fellow is good.
Take care of yourself, and send pics when you can

Billynda, When you dropped off the radar I figured Buddy was making his entrance. It's wonderful that you are both doing fine (if we just ignore that excruciating headache, that is). New life. How it helps us to share in this. Pictures would be great. Take very good care of you. Warm hugs.
A while back I copied this from another poster. I'll put it here, although I've never tried it. Hopefully someone who knows more than I do will be along to help.

Thank you everyone for all the responses! I am enjoying my little baby so much! I, unfortunately, do still have this stupid headache:( I can tell it is getting better, it's just taking it's sweet time. They also did tell me they only last 2 - 3 days usually, and this is day 5!!!! BUT, with all that I've been through (surgeries, chemo, child birth) along with all that I'm to endure through the rest of the year (more surgery, chemo, etc.) I just really really really don't want to go get poked again - and that blood patch thing sounds really scary. I'm so mad that I have to deal with this and feel like I'm wasting precious time with my son but agghhhh I just can't bring myself to do the blood patch. I am so filled with joy right now though, despite the headache, my spirits are high! I just love my little family so much and know that I am blessed. I still don't even have any pics uploaded to my pc yet, but I promise as soon as I can stand upright for more than 30 seconds without my ears ringing and seeing stars, I will!!!
-
Welcome to the world, little Buddy! We're all so thrilled for you, Billynda. Can't wait to see some pictures when you are feeling up to it. Do you have help with taking care of the kids?
Hugs
Bobbie
-
Billy - so good to hear that all is well, apart from your stupid headache. Hope that gets better sooner rather than later.
I remember when my kids were just born, I would just sit and stare at them, they were so gorgeous. Glad to hear you are having such a happy time. How is Big Sister feeling about the new addition?
-
(((((((((((Billy and Buddy)))))))))))

How is Buddy's big sister doing? Is she like a little mother? I hope you get the headache sorted out soon. Looking forward to seeing some pictures.

Your children are beautiful. Everyone looks so happy. I even noticed that you have more hair than both kids put together!
-
LOL, we think Buddy has the most hair of anyone in the family:) My middle name is Rae:) The pictures turned out really big! The headache is getting much better. I don't have to lay down all the time now. I was able to do laundry, dishes and be home alone with my children a little bit today! I am getting my PET scan and Mugascan on Monday, so PLEASE keep me in your prayers!!! I haven't had anything like that done yet because of the pregnancy, so I was diagnosed at Stage III just because of the lymph nodes. I did have an ultrasound done of my liver (or kidney, can't ever remember which one) and there was no cancer there but who knows if it was/is any farther than my lymph nodes. I am staying positive, but trying to be realistic too. I am so relieved but very scared to finally be getting to this point!!!!
-
Billy - I'll be thinking of you all weekend and especially on Monday.
These tests are really stressful, and it is very easy for your mind to go "there". Just concentrate on enjoying your little guys! I am sure all your results will be good.
