Don't know if anyone has experienced this combination or if it is of any significance? 11/24/09-R needle loc showed extensive intraductalcarcinoma, nuclear grade 3,cribriform and solid types,ER 8/8(PS 5/5 IS 3/3) positive, PR 7/8(PS 4/5 IS 3/3), positive,HER-2 2+(interpretation-equivocal),margins not clear. Then 12/7/09 R lumpectomy invasive ductal carcinoma 0.2 cm,Grade2 (of 3), margins clear, solid and cribriform types predominant, invasive tumor shows architectural score 3, cytologic score 3, miotic score 1,ER 2/8 (PS 1/5, IS 1/3) negative, PR 0/8 (PS 0/5,IS 0/3) negative, HER-2 1+(interpretation-negative). Then 12/14/09 R sentinel node biopsy- one lymph node- negative for malignancy. Now undergoing radiation treatments, but no clear answer on how one tumor can be positive, and then the other negative?? Any thoughts or other treatment concerns? Both tumors from same site in the same breast. Thanks.
