Nausea patch helped me a lot

I want to share my personal experience of using the Sansuco Transdermal Patch.

After three chemo treatments of AC, Taxotere and Cytoxin {all at the same time}, my problem with nause just could not be controlled.  I started doing my own research and discovered the nausea patch. Their web site is www.sansuco.com.  The FDA approved this patch in 2008. It was a total miracle worker for me.  I know everyone's body is different, but it has changed my recovery time from 7-10 days to about two days with nausea.  The cost is expensive and some insurance companies don't want to cover it.  The average cost of the patch is about $300.00.  Check it out.  Maybe the cancer docs and cancer centers just don't know enough about it.

Gest of luck.

I also used the Sancuso patch with T/C in addition to the other best anti-nausea drugs (Emend, Zofran) b/c once my Emend ended I couldn't drink enough due to nausea.  The patch solved my problems also.  I never threw up and although I didn't eat much through the chemo week, I never suffered.  This is a great resource - definitely worth bringing up if your oncologist does not recommend it after other meds have failed to keep the nausea at bay.
