 I grew up in louisville & now live new Albany Indiana.

 I Have 2 lumpectomy & now this friday Jan 29th I having a mastecomy & Reconstrution  at jewish Hospital.I am scared! have you ladies  had masctectomy? If so what should I expect! Who were your Doctors.

I was diagnosed HER+ er+ pr+ December 24, 2008, had right masectomy followed by 6 mos carboplaten, taxotere, herceptin, followed by 35 rounds of radiation, then zometa every 3 weeks.  Had restaging in December 2012, HER 2+, ER-, PR-, in liver, bones, bone marrow and am taking chemo again, taxotere, herceptin and perjeta. Am doing extremely well, tumor marker went from 1430 in May to 52.3 in August. GOD IS good.
