I just searched for the book and Amazon.com says the book hasn't yet been released.  Is this true?

Yes, I am sorry I did forget to add that the book's release will not be until February! I will contact Joi to get more details. Thanks for your interest, much appreciated on her behalf, I am sure.

In a message from Joi, dated 1/14/10 she states:

I received confirmation from my publisher today that the book will ship to bookstores who have already placed orders tomorrow. Copies shipped to me today. I will have copies by next Thursday as will many booksellers. I don't know if they will advance the release date once they have copies in stock, but it is possible.

BUMP for any newbies here and for anyone looking for the best information currently out there for high risk women...all in a single book!

Lisa-----I just finished reading it. Actually, my library didn't have it yet, but ordered it at my request. It is mostly about BRCA+ issues, but does mention LCIS quite a few times which I was glad to see, as those of us with LCIS are at high risk as well and have our own set of special issues and challenges.

The book is really excellent and a must-read for anyone at high risk.  Joi has done such a remarkable job of researching and writing a really informative book.
