I'm only 19..and I need help.

I read through a few other posts.. and I've been contemplating about getting the BRAC test since the day I heard about it. However, My mother really doesn't want me to get it. We've had 4 (maybe 5) women diagnosed and taken by some form of cancer..usually breast cancer. My mother, her cousin, and both I and my cousin are the only women left from the family. And, honestly.. I'm really scared that one day (like when I'm 30) and I'm married, want to have kids.. I find out I have cancer. My mom thinks if I find out I'll stop trying to live.. like college (and pursuing my career), finding "mr.right", etc.. But It really scares me.

This past year I have been very hurt. I've had a recurring bladder problem, muscle pain, pain in kidneys or ovaries, I've been always feeling fatigued and feeling like I never get enough sleep (even though I sleep 12 hours). I know these are all common symptoms for nothing..but I know they can add up to cancer.

Can anyone give me advice on where to start? How to get the process going? If its positive how much will this affect me RIGHT NOW? Will my insurance refuse me?
