I have been working with my doctors since Feb of 2008 when a hospital stay for kidney problems showed a mass in my breast on a abdominal ct scan.

I had a breast ultrasound and my first mammogram Feb 29, 2008 @ age 24. There was three, and they biopsied 2. We have been keeping watch and one of the three dissapeared between april 200 and october 2008.

July 2009 I went to a breast surgoen after a follow up ultrasound and the larger one had grown.

Yesterday at my 6 month ultrasound the larger one has continues to grow and there are two small lumps around it. The other lump has stayed the same size. I saw my surgeon after the ultrasound and she's worried, so she scheduled me for a lumpectomy on jan 13th.

I will then go to an oncologist and get blood and genetic testing for family history of  breast, ovarian, and cervical cancer. I had a hysterectomy in Jun of 2008, so they don't have to worry about uterine cancer.

I'm now 26, will be 27 in March. I am a mother to three children and the sole provider for my family because my husband was born with Hydrosepholus and Spina Bifida 32 yrs ago, and he had to have brain/abdominal surgery for a shunt revision in August of 2008, and then we lost or home in Hurricane Ike in Sept 2008.

I am just stressed to the max and I cannot be the one becoming ill when my family depends on me.

    Thanks for reading,

    Debbie
