• - I am doing a lot of additional diagnostic testing to help me figure out some of the causes of my breast cancer.
•  I read on Dr. Uzzi Reiss's website about a SNPS test - it is an Estrogenomic Profile from Genova Diagnostics. It cost about $500, but it really gave me a lot of information. I got a very detailed 6 page report - but tis is just some of what I discovered.
•  Through this SnPS test, I found out a lot about my  genetic predispositions. I found out I have a genetic predisposition  to make too much 4OH(Bad); I have weaknesses in metabolizing estrogen(Bad); I have impaired VitD3 receptor function with resistance to VitD3(Bad); I have flaws in phase Two detoxification as my genotypes for Glutathione are absent(Bad); and a lot more information regarding vulnerabilities in my bone health(Bad). The good news - I can address every one of these issues through nutrition and supplementation and I can track my progress! It was so empowering to me! I know we can't control every aspect of how we wound up with breast cancer, but there is a lot we can do!

I'd forgotten he had a website  but I'm a big fan of his books. I wonder if he ever speaks anywhere.
