Merry Christmas to everyone, especially those of you who are new to this journey.I had my last chemo 1/2009 and my last herceptin 10/2009.Last year I was in the hospital from before Christmas until New Years and was so sick, I didn't even care.Up until about three weeks ago, I felt like I was never going to get better. Then it seemd like overnight,my energy returned. I still have a lot of aches and pains and some sinus issues, but I have been baking and shopping and even doing my outside chores with my goats and donkeys, can't tell you how wonderful that is! The hot flashes are subsiding and I am sleeping better. The best part is I have a greater appreciation for everything, I always loved life and was happy, but now everything is so sweet.I am sure many of you know what I am talking about. This forum has helped me so much.Thank you to all who post here,we are a strong group of sisters. Jackie

That is so good to hear. I hope that at this time next year I feel the same way....maybe even sooner! I have herceptin until aug. 2010 and am in the middle of radiation now. I feel so tired all the time and have not been able to sleep normally since all this started. It is hard to see the light, but always good to be reminded that it is there!
