abdominal pain with taxol

I just finished a/c treatment (dense dose) and 12 weekly tx of taxol. At about week 9 of taxol I had horrible abdominal pain ( aside from aweful nails and some peripheral neuropathy). I was place on prilosec and treatment continued. At the last treatment I saw  my onc Dr who told me to go to my gastro dr. He put my on prilosec twice a day and pepcid complete. This has been going on for awhile. I have lots of burping, upper  abdominal pain and a band like pain that does to my back. I thought I had a hiatal hernia, GI dr says its likely chemo. Labs were negative for pancreatitis and hepatitis. chest X-ray was negative for pleural effusion.  What is going on? Anybody else have this? Only radiation to look forward to next!!!

How long since your last taxol?  It's been 4 weeks since mine and some of the SE's were slow to go away.  The one thing that I'm still getting is the tingling in the feet and mild swelling in the ankles.  Other stuff, like rashes and flushing took about 2 weeks.  I'm was only taking 1 prilosec which I continued after the taxol.  Now that I'm on AC I just had to increase it to 2 daily because of some nasty indigestion last Friday.  So far that has been a great improvement.

I'm having TCH which uses taxotere (similar to taxol) and had terrible pains in the bowel after the first treatment. I was prescribed Somac to take for the second treatment and was 100% better.

Yesterday, I have my 5th chemotherapy with Paclitaxel after my 4 A.C. chemo and now i am having horrible continous pain in lower abdominal and also severe back pain with weakness in body and constipation also. Please suggest me some remedies to get rid of these pains and i'm diagnosed from breast cancer. Please reply asap. Thanks in advance
