FAC (FEC) vs. ACT treatments?

    I learned Monday I am TN, and yesterday from my Chemo Nurse that my Onc. is suggesting FEC for me, but also has offered ACT as an alternative.  I was QUITE PO'ed that he had scheduled no further appointments with him until the first day of chemo (Jan. 6th) -- (was I supposed to make a snap decision that very day?).  We immediately got an appt. with him for next week so we can actually discuss this with him beforehand ... But, I would like to hear from you all, what your thoughts, ideas, or experiences are with these treatments.  I do NOT know how to decide between them, as they seem like "sister" treatments.
