Anyone doing Aredia??

My doctor started me on Aredia a few months ago. I get an infusion every 6 months. The first treatment totally wiped me out. I was sick for 3 days...achy bones, flu like symptoms really bad. I'm hoping it gets better. Anyone out there doing Aredia too? What is it like for you?

What is Aredia-what is it for? Is it like Zometa?

Yeah, it's like Zometa & Boniva. From what I understand my doc said that in a new study it showed that it could help prevent recurrences. I'm all for that!!

Hi all,
So my wife got her first IV of Aredia yesterday morning. Last late night her bone pain intensified and she's in pain even now, in the morning which never happened before. Muscle pain comes as an addition. Is this a SE? How common is this and for how long could this last?
I found something on the Web, but just wanted a confirmation...
