Surgery on New Year's

Surgery is scheduled for 12/31. What a Happy New Year's present! Will have bone scan, chest and pelvis x-rays before surgery I guess to see if it has metastasized. I have never been this scared about the uncertainty...death is not scary, just the journey there.
