hello,

has anyone waited 8 weeks after chemo to start radiation?  i just read yesterday from a radiation onco in california that waiting 8 weeks or more after chemo to start your radiation increased your recurrance rate. i'm so upset over this. neither my surgeon or onco told me to schedule earlier. i feel like i have done everything right so far now i have to deal with this.

    Yes, I did.  I can't quite remember how long it was..........but............I just went and checked my old date book..............it was 10 weeks from last chemo to first rads.  My dx is quite similar to yours except my tumor was 3 cm.
