Is anyone taking faslodex?  I had first injection last Monday.  Need to talk to radiation oncologist Dec 15 about radiation tx.  I did not have radiation 9 yrs ago when I was first dx.

I have metastatic lesion in the "right superior pubic ramus" area according to MRI.  Breast was bad enough, but now the PUBIC AREA!!!!!  Don't know what rads will do to that area.  Like I said, I did not have rads before...I had mast. with tram reconstruction and 4 tx of A/C plus tamoxifen, arimidex and femara.

I guess I'm back in that category of angry, scared, confused, feeling sorry for myself, having a few more pity parties, and trying to act normal.

Hi MKL - I was diagnosed in July 2008 - Stage IV with extensive bone mets. Chemo was TC and have been on Zometa and Arimidex since Jan. 09. In Sept. had some rise in TMs and slight uptake on prev. healing or healed spots on spine(T6) and pelvis. Onc switched me to monthly Faslodex. Acc to info I read it's for those who have stopped responding to AI's. I've had no se's from it and the good news is that ins. pays for it (I was paying for the Arimidex). My tms have remainded stable since Sept. I have a PET scheduled for Dec. 30th so we'll see about the bone spots. I actually have much more energy than I had on Arimidex and my bone mets are pretty much asymtomatic. I've never had radiation either. Still getting Zometa once a month.
