Lobular & Femara

My mom has stage 4 lobular.  First diagnosed 12 years ago and had a stem cell.  Recurrence two years ago and has been on Femara.  Now it appears the femara is not working as it appears to be in her kidney and she needs to have a stint put in.  I'm looking for people with a similar diagnosis that have been on femara and now changed to something else that has worked. I'm hoping for positive stories to share with her that have worked.  She also had uterine cancer a year ago and had a hysterectomy.  Any input at all is much appreciated.

Welcome to the boards! You may get more of a response (people with the experience you are requesting) on the metastatic boards  than here.  (Maybe the ILC board women would know too.)  LCIS means it is in-situ, not invasive.  LCIS is stage 0, and your mom is stage 4.  They are managed differently.
