I am one of 3 people in my circle of family and friends who had surgery for breast cancer in the same week in November of this year.  The 3 of us are different ages and have different cancers.  What do we have in common besides our surgery?  We all were saved by our yearly mammograms!  To let a group of statiticians determine how women will be screened is laughable.  They must be in the pockets of the Insurance lobbyists.  As an oncologist from Memorial Sloan Kettering said - mammography is the best tool we have now to save women's lives.  The "Task Force" results are a joke, but unfortunately, very dangerous.  If these guidelines are adopted by the Insurance industry to set their payments, it will set women's health back 20+ years.
