I'm new here and about terms of BC.  Doctors called before I even got paperwork from mammogram and US.  They scheduled me in less than a week for a biopsy.  Before hand they wanted me to come in for other tests.  Well as I stated on another topic, I sat there all day asking what's happening because they didn't call me hours after appointment.  By the time they realized their mistake, specialist had gone for the day.  I was worried, did they mix me up with someone else? Felt go slower check things out and then reschedule biopsy.  Now two days later papers arrive and I have a mass in my left breast 3cm deep where they cannot feel, but I also have these extreme angular margins in my upper left breast.  So what I thought could wait til after the New Year, I think maybe not.  From what I have read about angular margins 98% are malignant.

Has anyone here had this said or written to them, does anyone here understand why this is such a positive way of determination between B9 and malignant?  I am 55 years old and almost all my friends have had one form of cancer or another.  I am their go to person and I have made three of my friends comfortable in my home so they would be able to deal better.  But I never thought it would happen to me no family members have had any type of cancer.  I wasn't concerned about the mass but the more I read about angular margins and mine being extreme I'm wondering.  I've called to reschedule my biopsy and waiting.
