Phlegm

Hello to all. This is my first post.

 Has anyone expierenced phlegm that you have to cough up while on chemo? This phlegm is driving me nuts trying to cough it up. I know I should call the dr. but was just thinking this could be just another side effect. I am currently on Taxol. Only 2  more to go!

Hello!  I get a lot of it, and a very bad cough, about 5 days after each round.  My oncologist calls it "chemo cough."  I take Thera Flu cough and cold for about 5 days until it settles down.  She said if it gets worse she will prescribe something for me.  I just finished round 3, have 3 more rounds to go.  If it's bad you should probably still contact your Dr. anyway.
