Radiation before Surgery

Hi everyone

This is my first posting, I have DCIS in 3 areas of my right breast. One is slightly larger than the other two, it is High Grade. The other two being very small and intermediate grade.

I was hoping my surgeon could remove the larger area using hook & wire surgery, then use radiation to hopefully remove the other two.  I am up advised that this is basically not an option and would be high risk.

 My question is, has anyone else been through this and recieved a good outcome?

PS, I will take the safest option which in my case is mastectomy, but would like to know that I have tried all avenues.
