    just jumpin in to tell MIMI good luck with the job hunting.

    And SusanNYC---im sorry no one gave you support when you made the choice of doin nothing...I did the rads and im not takin ANY of the 5 yr.meds...everyone has their own reason...I support you 100%.....AND I did get a lot of support from the sistas when i said no meds.sure i was told try it and i did.3 weeks and never again...gonna play with the crap shoot!!!!Im a gambler anyway..

    im hoping that we do something during the week.my bus doesnt stop at my stop on the weekends......and most trains dont run regularly either....But if we have no choice ill find a way....I WILL BE THERE!!!!!!!!for sure.WHERE THERE IS A WILL THERE IS A WAY...

    Got bloodwork results from my MO....other than blood counts being out of whack (recent respiratory thing) all good!  Vit D, CA 27-29, chem panel in good range...yay!  Recent MRI for post-surgery lumps "probably benign", but will have another ultrasound and MRI in a few months to recheck...ugh!

    truebff................welcome...........your gonna love it here................these wonderful ladies got me through, and to where I am today, and its almost 1 year...............could not have done it without them..................I always say..............when everyone else tells you how great you look, how good your doing, and how happy they are that it is all behind you..........................and you want to say............."OH YOU THINK SO", but they don't want to listen to your "story"..............the ladies here will listen............time and time again...............we are here for each other regardless of the day, hour, or condition..........................we have our Pity Parties..............our Vodka parties...............sometimes we get pissed, and rant, and sometimes we get sad when one of us suffers...........................welcome, come often......our door is always open...........hugs.

    i've found some wonderful people on these threads and so much help but am new to this one. Seems like a lot of you here ( I couldn't read whole thread but read back over a few of last pages) are in my boat with diagnosis and treatment choices. So much to learn and share.

    Before I start I hope May 19th will not be the day we are gonna meet cause i just got a invitation to a 50th BD party and I have to go.

    Happy Thursday everyone.Im goin to PA this weekend.My GGson #1 is 2 years old today.And my GD is takin me to a class on.....she isnot sure if its on Holistic meds,Reekii(dont think i spelled that right anyway her friend is teaching her about alternative oils and all the good stuff..this girl is an alternative Vet Tech and she is teaching it all to my GD.She is moving to Utah.Im not happy thatGD still owes over 20 thousand on her student loan to be a vet tech but this can be something she can do in the evenings when the kids sleep.$$$$$ is tight there.BUT this new career can help her,her son who gets a rash if you look at him wrong AND we are trying to eat healthy.And I promise I will share all the secrets i can get.not leavin till tomorrow evening.

    Hey Granny..............................had Reki...............its pretty cool........................my massage therapist is trained in Reiki..........................but then you know I'm a fan of accupuncture, and massage therapy....................love it, love it love it.................................your suppose to feel a warmth, as they pass "hands" over your body ...........................she didn't tell me that, but I said to her.....................I feel warmth..............................she said "good", but told me "only after", that, that was suppose to happen when Reiki is working for you..............old chinese form of holistic medicine, I belive............................

    Welcome Truebff  to the club that no one wants to be a member of.  Stick with us, we are full of information, comfort and support.  Beware though, we also like to party especially on the weekends and when someone has had good results.  I have to share with you - it has been 17 months my dx and these ladies have been so incredible.  I could not have come this far without them

    Welcome Truebff....bummer you are here but glad you are...we are kind nutty but always sincere...ducky is wrong...i am the ONLY one who is cool calm and collected (usually by men with butterfly nets)

    oK- the conference is May 1-3, so that will give us Thursday afternoon or any time at all on Friday (I have entire day to myself!!! - either fine with me-we can get down to nitty gritty as we get closer...I am excited.....I always love NYC and now, will just love it all the more with you guys:) I CANNOT WAIT:)

    Truebff:  Welcome...I'm kinda new to the site myself.  I was dx in October and had my surgery in December.  Feeling almost back to normal.  This site and this thread have wonderful people who can give comfort and support as well as education on almost anything you need to know about bc.  Glad to have you join our group!
