Thank You ladies.
Annette must be getting ready for our meeting granny
-
maybe she started walking here!!!!!!!Spring is right around the corner.ha.
Annette!!!!!!!!!!
-
I think I found her. Is that you Annette?
-
I have 2 non related stupid questions.
1) Why am I getting so many spams on my email. It's posting as spam but why?
2) Why 5 years later my big toe looks like Herceptin Toe? It's almost lifting and looks weird and discolored.
-
Sheila I don't know the answers to your questions ha! but can I please ask you ladies once again to say a little prayer for me. As you all know I've been sick since Monday with a stomach bug (diarrhea x 3 days) finally got it to stop and now I'm running a temp of 101.9 to 101 and getting an atrocious headache when my temp spikes. I can't seem to get it to come all the way down and stay down. I'm sure it is viral... but enough is enough! I need to feel better yesterday. Thanks in advance for all the prayers ladies
Sheila congrats on your DD getting married!! Happy dance
I guess we know where you will be in July
-
Mimi, I'm sorry you are so sick. I'd check with your doc if your temp doesn't go down in the next day or so. Hope you are feeling better soon!
-
Sheila sorry I missed the party! Would rather have been here than at work or meetings.... Yeah over 10,000 and counting.
Mimi it sounds like you've been sick for quite a while. Have you been to your PCP to see what he says? Hope you get over it soon.... sending prayers your way.
-
Sheila - Here I am!! Been super busy at work and have not even had time to read what I have been missing. The winter months are my busiest time at work. I do miss everyone. Sorry I missed the 10,000 post party. Hope every has a good weekend.
-
Jo....glad you checked in. i missed you.
Lots of hugs are coming your way.
♥
Good Night

jo1955
Glad to see you post.:) Starting to worry about ya:)
-
Sheila the holiday theme is great... Like the pic's. Thinking of putting my tree up today sometime. The neighbors already have lights outside so I might try and "do" something also. I don't have any way to put lights along the eve's but might try and put twinkle lights around some bushes. I really like the sparkling trees I've seen....
Jo try not to work to hard... I've noticed an influx of people here too. The roads and restaurants are really crowded.
-
Thanks Sheila & Wally, The hugs were nice. Just been super busy and today has been just as bad. My assistant manager - Shirley told me today her father passed away last night - it was expected as he was terminal and she did not have the money to fly from TX to OH for the funeral. I did some checking in my two accounts I have and came up with the money for her. Also had to get her set with some luggage. She is such a wonderful person, I just had to help her. I know she is so grateful. She will be leaving Monday morning and coming back on Friday so don't worry if you don't here from me. I will be extra busy and that is okay - I can do it - I wanted her to be able to go back with family.
-
Jo such kindness. I'm glad to know you.
-
Thanks Joni - I would do it for anyone.
-
ducky and granny, Thanks for the encouragement about rads. So far it is going OK. I am on a rads thread. (Oct. 2011 and Nov. 2011)....after my 5th treatment I felt exhausted and overwhelmed with sadness for all the women I met just in one week who are going through so much. Every now and then, it weighs heavy on my heart.
On a happier note, I had a wonderful start to the Christmas season with my 3 daughters and 5 grandkids - we all met in NYC today for the Christmas Show. I felt such joy and peace. I guess everything is just so precious to me now....
Jo, what a wonderful gift you gave to Shirley. I am sure your kindness will touch many.
Hugs and prayers for each of you today.
Joan -

Joan....i'm so glad you had good time with your family.
I'm planning to go down to see the tree.
I came to this country on December 19, 1971. The first time i saw the tree 40 years later i want to go and celebrate my life.

Sheila, Yes, go see the tree again...And celebrate! It was so crowded....we had a crazy day with DD #2 getting separated from us with DD#1's son and no cell phone...thousands of people...but we all made it to the tree and found one another right there.
Am so exhausted - had to run a field trip today and hike 4 miles....I feel like I could sleep until Wednesday.
Rads at 7:30 am tomorrow....so no sleep!Wishing all a great week ahead.
Joan
