CALLING ALL STAGE I SISTERS

Thanks everyone!!! I am so happy to be done!
Next appointment with onc is Aug 18th where we will be discussing f/u visits and tests to confirm the verbal NED...not sure how they can say NED when I haven't had any dx tests other then mammo (TM were never high so that did not work as a gage for me).
CONGRAT's on 100 pages and over 3000 posts!!!!
-
Michelle...I dont recall my DR ever telling me the word NED.
Maybe we are stageI . I asked a question like that if I needed any tests after all my treatment was over.
He said no. Just regular mammogram and blood work+CA 25-27 (TM) every 4 months when I see him.
-
Congrats grannyduke and Michelle!!
Hugs to you all!!
Hey Sheila how do you do the little hearts?

I'm tired of trying to get the smilies here tonight, must be missing a step, will try tomorrow.
ANYHOO, congrats to you, Michelle, on your last tx of Herceptin. YAY!!!!
And, grannydukes, wonderful news re: your clear PET & MRI. We will be with you during the biopsy. I did not have to have chemo, but I did Rads & I had no major problems. I can help you there if you do have to go that route, okay?
{{hugs to you both}}
-
Thanks for the nice welcome! I've been in chemo land, so I haven't had the brain to be as active on BCO this past week!
Yes, this disease sucks!!!
-
kittycat...how many more treatments do you have before coming out from chemoland?
Val....You are talking about googling images Yes?
They did change the format and its different how you do it now.
I did some studying. I will give you different instructions. At least thats the way Im doing it now
-
Hi kittycat!
-
hello stage 1 ladies, I am celebrating a clear MRI, and thanking God ! ♥
-
Hi susan. Thanks for sharing your good news.
(((Hugs)))
Sheila
-
I don't have any problem using google images the same way I always have.
-
Congrats, Susan. That is always great news.
It is amazing to think of the masses of women out there who have never been in our shoes and just take for granted that they will have a clear mammo.
-
Congrats Susan!!!
-
Susan ~ WOOHOO! Great news on the clear MRI. {hug}
What I was trying to do was the dancing little buddies that you had in a post for grannydukes & Michelle. I found them on one of those animated smileys & emoticon websites & was sure I was following the directions to use them here, but apparently I kept doing something wrong. I will try again in a day or so.
-
thanks so much, I was put thru the wringer last year, inexperienced techs with a new machine, just trying to do what they were told by an onco that feeds that place,, this time I told the mammo tech to not try to kill me with that machine, they can find a better way to screen me, she listened and I got the painless MRI, satisfied that results are true, and so annoyed with all my experience that I let them hurt me for the money last year, you truly need to be your own advocate, I believe that if I needed chemo (I refused at dx) the onc would actually know me
-
-
I have 5 more treatments. I am due to be done with chemo on September 22nd. Then, I start rads after that!
-
susan, michelle and grannydukes. Awesome news.
