Femoral Hernia, Anyone?

Found a lump, feels like approx. 2 inches, in my groin  right in the crease between upper thigh and pubic area. Onco and PCP thought it was probably an enlarged lymph node. Had a follow-up w/ my surgeon today and she's pretty sure it's a femoral hernia and recommends having it repaired relatively soon.

Any fellow hernia gals around?

I may have posted this elsewhere, if so, my apologies. Haven't had my coffee quota today!
