Changes in inverted nipple

Hello! I have a quick question, finding no luck elsewhere.

I have had inverted nipples for as long as I could remember noticing nipples, hehe. Now here is my question. I have noticed some changes to one of my nipples. The top part (it is kinda like I have two nipples on each breast) has turned darker and less firm. It will rarely protrude anymore. I don't recall it doing that before. Also, a few weeks ago, the area around that nipple looked darker, almost bruised like and tender to the touch. It almost feels like if I push on both nipples that the one that has changed has a hard spot on it, while the other does not. I posted on this forum because of the inverted nipple thing. My age-26. Mother, aunt, grandma-breast cancer (in their 40's)

Thanks for any responses in advance.

    RDH:

I would definitely get it checked out.  With IBC being a rare type of bc not all symptoms are known.  I had no symptoms that are listed for IBC.  Also ask your doctor if he/she has ever heard of IBC.  You would be suprised how many doctors have never heard of this type of bc.

    Praying this is nothing.

Please have this checked ASAP. This is one you don't want to play around with. As Caseysmom said ask the Dr if they have ever heard of IBC. If not...go where they have heard of it. It's aggressive and needs to be daelt with aggressively.
