Why am i only getting radiation

Please can someone explain to me why i am only going to get radiation treatment and no chemo or surgery, has any one else had ony radiation

All of the treatment decisions are based on what stage and type of cancer you have.  It really depends on your particular biopsy.  Without knowing more about you it's hard to give any further advice.

I agree with Flash -- it is impossible to answer yur question without knowing more. But i have one suggestion: How were you diagnosed? If it was with a biopsy, the biopsy *may* have served as a lumpectomy, *if* your surgeon took enough tissue to get clean margins. That's what happened to me. So: i went in for a biopsy, but had a lumpectomy, and then needed only rads, no more surgery. and no chemo, because thetmor was small and the node was clear. (I did have to have the sentinel lymph node taken in a separate 'procedure'.)
