Anyone have more trouble with radiation then chemo?

Options

I am wondering if anyone was VERY tired already after a couple of rads? I am sure that the combination of finishing chemo just 3 weeks ago and now rads is making me tired, but I am more tired already than I was on chemo and I have 29 sessions to go. Anyone else feel this tired from almost the start? Did it get worse or get better?

considering that I was told to expect fatigue sometime in my third week, I was confused when it hit hard on my third DAY! it went on to get a bit worse, but seemed to level off in my second week. I finished last week and have been feeling the same amount of fatigue. I believe that it is different for all of us. I did not have chemo, but have so far met three women for whom their se's from rads were definitely worse than their se's from chemo. hang in there and allow yourself to rest.

I started rads 3 months after chemo - by the third day I was wiped out.  I ended up sleeping 12-14 hours a day.  I could barely move on most days.  The fatigue was much worse than chemo.  Looking back, chemo made me feel so bad I didn't want to do anything.  With rads, I felt great other than the fact that I COULDN'T do anything.  I got through it by telling myself I only had to complete 2 tasks each day and as long as I did those two tasks then I did enough.  Those tasks were simple such as running a couple loads of laundry and paying bills on one day, vacuuming and cooking the next day, etc.  I set my expectations very low so that I wouldn't get depressed with the fact that I wasn't really doing much and it worked!
