Question about thermography..

Has anyone had an experience, positive or negative with this procedure?

prayermom ~  Check out the thread called "natural girls."  It's in the Alternatives section.  At least one very knowledgeable member on that thread swears by them.  On the other hand, when I asked my breast surgeon (at one of the top places for bc in the country) about thermography during a recent follow up exam, she said they don't use thermography because they would just have to follow up with other screening methods if they did see something.  I chose not to question her about the benefit of eliminating some of the radiation we get from mammos, but obviously that's a big concern for some.

I had them annually for 2 years prior to my diagnosis, and nothing suspicious ever showed up. While another tool, my only advice would be to not let it lull you into a false sense of security, and not do or delay your mammo.
